DULARI IS A LUXURY INDIAN FASHION HOUSE BORN FROM TRADITIONAL TEXTILES
Each handcrafted garment is made in limited numbers and conceived as a collectible object. Fabric is the starting point, guiding innovation in material, colour and process.
Working in dialogue with craft traditions across india, the studio develops garments through distinctive embroidery, weaving and hand-painting techniques shaped into global silhouettes.
Dulari’s debut collection explores handcrafted Indian textiles, beginning with indigo and unfolding into a spectrum of blue, green and shadowed neutrals.. Handwoven eri silk, khadi, woven cottons and cotton-denims form the foundation, all coloured using azo-free dyes.
Traditional barmer appliqué evolves into an appliqué-on-appliqué technique layered with hand painting, deconstructed pin-tucks and custom dulari buttons. Each garment requires between 20 and 100+ hours of embroidery, hand-painting and construction.
IT IS A QUEST TO FIND THE BELOVED WITHIN
The debut collection has evolved through layers of weaving, dyeing, embroidery and hand painting, bringing together handcrafted techniques into contemporary luxury garments.
Rooted in traditional textile practices and shaped by a global perspective, the collection explores heritage craft through contemporary construction and silhouette.
Time is treated as a material in itself, visible in the hours invested and the depth that emerges through process. Each handcrafted piece is created to be collected, lived in and to age with the wearer.
